Our Rooms

We have 8 rooms at Thornbank Guest House.

All rooms are decorated individually with shower en-suite facilities, flat screen smart TVs & Free WIFI.

Room No 1 – King size Double ensuite

Located on the ground floor. It has a king size bed and a shower ensuite. Smart TV.

Room No 2 – King size Double ensuite

Located on the ground floor. It has a king size bed and a shower ensuite. Smart TV.

Room No 3 Double ensuite

Room 3 is also located on the ground floor. It has a double bed and shower ensuite. Smart TV

Room No 4 – King size Double ensuite

Room No 4 is located at ground floor level. It has a king size bed and a shower ensuite. Smart TV.

Room No 5 – King size Double ensuite

Room No 5 is located on the first floor.  It has a kings bed and a shower ensuite. Smart TV.

Room No 6 – Family ensuite
(three persons)

Room No 6 is located on the first floor.  This room has a en-suite shower room and  caters for 3 persons but is ideally suited to families of two adults and one child up to the age of 12 years. Not suitable for large luggage as space is restricted.

Room No 7 – Family ensuite
(three persons)

Room No 7 is located on the 2nd (top) floor and is a large converted loft space with shower en-suite . This room is capable of catering for 3 persons but is ideally suited to families of two adults and one child up to the age of 12 years. The ceiling slopes to the sides of the bedroom and bathroom. Smart TV.

 Room 8 – Ground floor twin bedroom

Located on the lower ground floor this room has 2 single beds with a shower ensuite and faces to the rear of the property. Smart TV.

All of our bedrooms are non-smoking, centrally heated with all the private services and facilities you would expect, including:

Breakfast

If you decide to take breakfast with us, we offer this at an additional £11 per person per day. This can be arranged on arrival and paid for on departure. Our extensive breakfast menu will set you up for the day’s activities. We have a wide choice on offer including the traditional cooked breakfast using local produce. We will endeavour to meet individual dietary needs.

We do ask that you pre-order breakfast for the following morning. There are a few reasons why we do this: –

  • Minimises food waste – we only cook what we need. This in turn: –
  • Minimises room rate costs – allowing us to maximise value for money for you
  • Allows us to serve you quickly and efficiently – freeing up more time for your day
  • Better management of our stock control- keeping it same-day fresh for you
